Inclusive Support for Learners Aged 11+
Inclusive Support for Learners Aged 11
At Sitting prettie academy, we provide high-quality, tailored learning for young people aged 11 and above who are neurodivergent or have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Our programmes are designed for learners who need a more personalised approach to succeed. We create structured, supportive environments where barriers are reduced, engagement is rebuilt, and progress is meaningful.
Our practice is grounded in the SEND Code of Practice (0–25) and planned from the learner’s perspective, with a strong focus on confidence, independence and preparation for future pathways.
How we work
- Person-centred planning — learner voice, strengths and needs guide every programme
- Graduated approach (Assess–Plan–Do–Review) embedded in our delivery
- Individualised pathways linked to EHCP outcomes and progression goals
- Small-group and 1:1 teaching for targeted, responsive support
- Calm, predictable environments that are safe, supportive and well-being-focused
