The purpose of this qualification is to confirm competence in an occupational role to the standards required.
The Focus Awards Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement is intended for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in a workshop, classroom or other training environment other than assessing competence in a work environment.
Course Content –
· Understanding the principles and practices of assessment
· Assess occupational competence in the work environment.
· Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding.

Entry Requirements: There is an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) involved and learners should have basic skills in communication at Entry Level 3. Age restrictions 19+
